Judges at the competition carefully evaluated the water's appearance, taste, and aroma. Plainfield Township's winning entry will represent the region this fall at the annual Michigan Section AWWA statewide conference, held this year in Grand Rapids. The municipality that wins the next round will advance to compete against other state winners for the title of best-tasting water in the country.

"We are excited to receive this recognition again," said Rick Solle, Director of Public Services. "This award showcases the hard work and dedication of our team, ensuring our residents have access to some of the safest, cleanest, best tasting water in the state."
