This year, residents will be voting for the election of representatives to your local school boards. Residents of the Rockford School District will be voting on a local Bond Issue.  Sample ballots are now available (below) for download so you may review them prior to election day.

New Voting Machines:
Plainfield Township is now using the new The Election Systems & Software (ES&S) M-100 Optical Scan Voting System.  These systems have been selected as the standard in Kent County and the Township has converted all precincts to use this new, easy to use voting process.  For a demonstration on how to vote using these new machines, please click here.

Absentee Ballots:
If you need to obtain an Absentee Ballot for this election, please review the instructions here.

Sample Ballots:
Below are Sample Ballots you may download and review before Election Day.  Be sure that you go to your assigned precinct on Election Day or return your absentee ballot promptly.  If you are unsure which Precinct you are in, check your new Voter's Registration Card or consult the Township Precinct map.  If you need further assistance please contact the Township Clerk's office or call (616) 364-8466.
