A public hearing
will be held at the Township Offices, 6161 Belmont
Ave NE, Belmont, Michigan 49306, beginning at
7:00PM.
PROJECT SUMMARY:
1. Construct approximately
6,000 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer and install
/ rehabilitate manholes from Ten Mile Road to
Childsdale Avenue area; Ten Mile Lift Station
Removal and Replacement.
2. Remove and Replace six (6) Northerly Trunk
Sewer Inverted Siphons located along the Rogue
River with river crossing pipe and manholes.
3. Forest Ridge Lift Station Flood Protection
Improvements and Elevated Access Drive.
4. Comstock Park Area Trunk Sewer and Collection
System Structural Improvements.
The estimated
probable cost of the proposed project is $5,600,000.
The increase in the operation, maintenance and
replacement translates to an annual increase
of $26.66 per Residential Equivalent Unit (REU)
or $2.22 per month.
Any interested
party may review or examine plan documents at
the Township Offices, 6161 Belmont Avenue NE,
Belmont, Michigan, 49306, any weekday, Monday
through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Also,
any interested party may submit written comments
concerning the proposed projects until the date
and time of said hearing. The Township will
provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids
and services at the meeting for individuals
with disabilities upon adequate notice to K.
