PUBLIC NOTICES:

ELECTION COMMISSION MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Plainfield Charter Townships Election Commission will take place on Monday July 7, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. at the Plainfield Charter Township Offices, 6161 Belmont Avenue NE, Belmont, MI. The Election Commission will be appointing election inspectors to work the August 5, 2014 Primary Election.

ELECTION EQUIPMENT PUBLIC TEST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public test of the M-100 Optical Scan tabulator and the AutoMark voter assistance terminal, in preparation for the August 5, 2014 Primary Election, will be conducted on July 23, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Plainfield Charter Township Offices, 6161 Belmont Avenue NE, Belmont, MI.

  • April 7, 2014:  An ordinance to regulate the issuance of liquor licenses, their renewal, revocation and to protect the health safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the Plainfield Charter Township.  Ordinance #859

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

HISTORY BUFFS WELCOME

The Plainfield Township Historical Preservation and Advisory Committee meets regularly to oversee the operation and maintenance of the Hyser House Historical Museum, and is tasked with protecting and preserving Township history. The Committee meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, January through November at the Plainfield Township Hall (6161 Belmont Avenue, NE) at 2:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to share anything regarding Township history with the Committee.

SPECIAL MEETINGS:

June 30, 2014

There will be a Special Meeting of the Plainfield Charter Township Board on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 7:00pm at the City of Rockford, 7 South Monroe St., Rockford MI 49341.  This is a joint meeting with the Rockford City Council.
